Friday February 24th, 8pm Wilno Tavern. This Power Blues Trio from Kansas spent the last year opening for the likes of ZZ Top, George Thorogood, Robert Cray etc. Along the way they caught the attention of Music Icon Steve Cropper from Stax Records and Booker T. He wrote a song for their new album “Just a Dream” on Telarc, which was just released and has received much critical acclaim.

They are touring in support of this release which is a romp through their original blend of Delta Blues, Chicago Blues and hard driving powerful garage-rock configuration of guitar, vocals, harp and drums. A party waiting to happen. Tickets $25 adv. $30 at door. Phone 613-756-2029.

Sunday February 26th-Wilno Tavern Blues Workshop and symposium. Bring your guitar or harmonica and come out to a work shop and symposium with Moreland and Arbuckle. Ask questions about playing or the music business and touring. The workshop will follow up with a mini show, one good set of music. 2pm to 5pm. Tickets $12 adv. $15 door.
